TRAP hot spring

serene outing in the nature to keep away from the hectic lifestyle in the city. a truly gate away from all the stress and refreshing air for the health physically and spritually.

TRAP hot spring is located in the state of Perak, a small town name Sungkai, in the oil palm/ rubber estate of FELDA sg Klah, approximately 2 hours drive from KL, from the north south high way, turn into SUNGKAI exit, and make left turn after the exit, drive for about 10 minutes, you will see the sign leading into FELDA Sg. Klah Hot Spring ( TRAP), drive for around 15 minutes, will see sign guiding to the hot spring resort.

the major attraction is the back to nature, there is a chalet for rental,(please call prior visit) as there are always full during weekends. if everything fails, it is also worth for a days trip as the hot spring is a good relaxing place, and you may experience the beauty of nature. the sulfuric hot spring is also good for minor skin desease as it will help to relief itcheness and better blood circulation by soaking in the hot spring (the therapeutic pools).
(there are other natural pool for swimming and a cold pool. and there is also a egg-boiling activity being carry out in the hot-spring and we have done a record for boiling over 50 thousand egg over a span of 40 odd hours in year 2006.

while trekking into the water fall, you will get chance to experience the floral and fauna of the virgin forest. besides the fresh air for the benefit of our body and soul.

there is also a rafting activity from the stream down until to Kuala Kubu. information can be obtained from the tourism office or log on to www.plantationresorts.com.my for further details.

while down the trip drive, you will also experience the oring Asli kampung along the road side.

for those food lovers, there are typically malay tradisional food stall along the main road and local food stall inside the resarts. for those who love "ayam kampung", there is a "roast salt kampung chicken" near the primary school nearby. However,reservation is require for the purchase as the suppy is very limited. do check out with the local when you are there.

for durian lovers and local fruit like rambutan, jack fruit or cempedak, you may just plug it fresh from the tree during fruit season (please get permission b4 consume). the local are very friendly and helpful, smile and the world will smile to you.
