Review:
The day has come; on 24th May 2008, my friend and I went for a trip to Tioman Island which situated in Pahang. That was my first experience. I was really excited since we discussed about the trip few months before. Our journey from Shah Alam, Selangor took about 7 hours to Mersing, Johor. As soon as we reached Mersing jetty, we had our lunch first then we took a ferry to continue our journey to Panuba Inn Resort where we stayed. It was so amazing experience. Picturesque view of Tioman Island caught my attention with white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. My heart kept on praising to God. So calm, so nice and so beautiful. I was speechless. After about 1 and half hours, we reached Panuba jetty. We stayed day for 3 days and 2 nights. We went for snorkeling. We could see and touch colorful fauna in the crystal clear water. It looks like all the fishes dances around us. We could also see beautiful coral underwater. Just look like heaven. So many of them and so colorful. Everything seems perfect and fabulous. Again I was speechless at that time. At night, we went for deep-sea fishing. It was very valuable experience to me and my friends. We caught about 30 kilos of squid. It gave us sort of satisfaction. The day after, we asked the restaurant chef to cook the squid for us. They cooked few menus based on squid that were ‘Nasi goreng sotong’, ‘sotong masak kunyit’ and fried squid. The food was so delicious. We enjoyed our meals so much. The time passed really fast. We have had really tremendous time together. We spent about only RM350 each for those precious experiences we had there. I wish I could go there again someday…
